1. The Godby Cougars had another dominating defensive effort, by only allowing seven points late in the game . This week the offense joined the party, by scoring thirty-four points on a Mandarin team that was never truly in the game. WIN 34-7.
2. The Rickards Raiders offense, for the second straight week, put up forty points with an explosive running attack. The Raiders defense held the Leon Lions to seven points, and is steadily improving week by the week. WIN 40-7
3. The Madison County Cowboys went on the road to man handle a tough Newberry squad in a 1A battle . The Newberry Panthers hung close early, but Madison was not to be denied. WIN 47-14

4. The Columbia Tigers traveled next door to take on the Suwannee Bulldogs in their annual showdown, and the Tigers showed no mercy. The Tigers defense didn’t allow a score and the offense got off to an early start and never let up. WIN 48-0

5. The Lincoln Trojans went on the road for the second consecutive week: coming up short on the scoreboard. Both teams came into the game needing a win. On this night, the Bearcats were just too much for the Trojans. LOSS 43-33
6. The Florida High Seminoles traveled to Blountstown with the hopes of putting up another win. The game went as expected with Florida High owning the fourth quarter. The Seminoles pulled away late outscoring the Tigers in what was an early close game. WIN 35-21
7. The Wakulla War Eagles bounced back from last week's disappointing loss to hard fought victory over the Chiles Timberwolves. The rain seems to follow Wakulla and this week was no different. WIN 21-0
8. The North Florida Christian Eagles (NFC), in their home opener, battled the Valwood Valiants. Valwood came to Tallahassee expecting nothing but a victory over NFC. The Eagles had other plans: pulling out late game heroics. WIN 18-13
9. The Gadsden County Jaguars for the second consecutive week played up a class, but this week they just couldn’t pull off a win. The Mosley Dolphins out scored the Jaguars in a high flying offensive show. LOSS 46-36
