The Timberwolves‘ football program is on the rise, indicated by their making the playoffs for the first time in school history last season. The Timberwolves’ positive direction began after Coach Garrett Jahn took over the football program two seasons ago. After knocking off perennialpowerhouse, Lincoln Trojans, and having a winning season things are truly looking up. This year, the offense will be lead by transfer junior QB Avery Thomas( 6-2 180). He will have leading rusher senior RB Shane Sanders(5-10 165) to ease his transition. Thomas top passing targets are Chris Reed (5-10 180) and newcomer Kamari Brown ( 6-3 160). Anchoring the offensive and defensive line will be senior Conner Hanson.The defense has nine starters returning, led by junior Outside Linebacker Amari Gainer (6-3 200), senior LB Jace Edgar ( 6-0 185), and senior LB Brock Holloway ( 6-0 220). Chris Reed and Shane Sanders will do double duty in the secondary.
