Large and impressive signing classes are beginning to become the norm at Godby. Over the past several seasons it has been no mystery about the level of talent that has donned the Blue and White over the past decade. The Cougars have produced a very long list of of highly touted athletes to find success at the collegiate level. This years group hopes to be no different.

“It’s a great day for the Godby Community and the parents and friends of our student athletes today.”, Said Godby Head coach Ronnie Cottrell as he address a packed media center filled with onlookers to watch several Godby athletes sign letters of intent. All in all 5 Cougars committed to play college football during the ceremony with an additional 2 already enrolled with their respective programs after graduating from Godby early. Cottrell made sure to state that there would be a host of other student-athletes that will sign with other schools as the recruiting process is still ongoing.
