The Tigers were led by “Mr. Everything”, RB #20 DeVondrick Nealey, who is well on track for a 2,000 yard season. Jefferson County got plenty of use out of their feature back in Nealey on the ground, but the Tigers also used plenty of other weapons to seal the victory. Tiger WR #4 A. Footman and QB #1 L. Footman helped to light up the score board through the air, along with freshman RB #2 L. Robinson.
Trailing by just 6 points at the start of the 2nd half, FAMU High was looking a stellar defensive effort to slow down the Tigers and a great night of offense to steal a win. The Lions featured a strong effort QB #15 R. DeVore and WR’s J. Neloms and J. Colston-Greene who lead their offensive attack. Also in on the action for the Lions was RB #22 T. Longmire who put on a stellar performance. The Trojans responded with a solid offensive attack of their own with RB #32 J. Allen and WR #3 K. Daniels, who led the Trojans on Senior Night.

There were plenty of Taylor County faithful on hand to watch their Bulldogs defeat the visiting Wakulla War Eagles in their 2010 season opener, 24-6.
