Lincoln’s Gibson commits to South Carolina
Tallahassee Demacrat Reports Lincoln Offensive Lineman Cody Gibson has committed to South Carolina Gamecocks.

Lincoln High rising senior and offensive tackle Cody Gibson committed to the University of South Carolina on Tuesday.
“I’ve known Cody for a long time,” first-year Lincoln football coach Yusuf Shakir said. “It’s just great to see him grow and develop over the years.”
Gibson visited the Columbia, S.C. campus over the weekend, where he toured the school on a golf cart.
“The facilities are really outstanding,” Gibson said. “The stadium’s huge, and the weight room is crazy.”
Gibson met with several Gamecock trainers and coaches, including head coach Steve Spurrier.
“He’s actually really easy to talk to and he’s really down to earth,” Gibson said. “He’s really cool. We met in his office.”
